The Wonders of God’s Creation

In order to have a rationale debate with anyone we must begin by acknowledging that the laws of logic, the laws of nature, and the laws of morality are self-evident. God is why these truths are self evident. The first 2 chapters of the book of Romans makes this very clear.

Let’s look at what these laws are and then, (God willing) we will see the insurmountable problems they pose for the unbeliever.

Scientific analysis would not be not possible without uniformity in nature. Time, space, matter, gravity etc., must be uniform in order for scientific experimentation to be meaningful.

Time is based on the uniformity of our solar system. The earth revolves at a constant speed of 1,000 miles an hour while simultaneously revolving around the sun. At 67,000 miles an hour, the Earth makes the 584 million mile journey once every 365.25 days. It’s “on time” arrival record is better than any  airline in the world!

The atheist cannot account for why there is uniformity in nature. Only those who believe the Bible have a logical reason for this incredible phenomenon. Here is what Albert Einstein said about natural law in his book The World As I See It:

“The harmony of natural law reveals an intelligence of such superiority that, compared with it, all the systematic thinking of …human beings is an utterly insignificant reflection.”

Because the physical laws that govern our universe are constant, astronomers can chart the position of stars, moons, planets, and asteroids far into the future with accuracy and precision.

Laws necessitate a law giver just as surely as the Mona Lisa necessitates a Leonardo Da Vinci. There is no way to account for these complex mathematical equations in an abstract, godless universe.

The fact is, atheism is a crutch for those who can’t bear the thought of identifying themselves with Jesus Christ and admitting they are sinners. Jesus is the light of the world and the darkness hates the light because the light exposes the darkness.you
